1. Why can't I send a foreign currency from my account electronically in the e-Broker application?

Foreign currency transfers can only be made in person at any Fio banka branch or over the phone to the permitted bank account you provided in the Commission Contract or in the addendum to the Commission Contract. Your telephone password is required for phone transfers.

Another option is to open a current account in the given currency (EUR or USD) and then add it to the permitted bank accounts (in person at any bank branch). A foreign currency non-cash transfer can then be completed electronically using the e-Broker application using a permitted Fio banka account.. Fio banka Internetbanking can then be used to send these funds anywhere from such current accounts.

2. How are dividends paid if I have a trading account at Fio banka?

Czech securities issuers (e.g. ČEZ, KB, Unipetrol, PM, Telefónica ČR) entrust the payment of dividends to various banks operating in the Czech Republic. This means that dividends are paid to every stockholder individually at any of the branches of the entrusted bank. You can find specific information about the issuer's pages in the section for investors.

For investors who use the "Personal Broker" or "Margin Trading" services, dividends are automatically credited directly to the trading account.

Dividends of Czech titles are also credited to the trading account of those who use the Master Account.

In the case of foreign equity issues, dividends are automatically credited to the investor's trading account.

The fee for crediting dividends is 0.2 % of the amount credited.

3. I probably forgot my password for logging in to the application, what can I do? I tried to enter it a number of times and the account is locked.

When an incorrect password is entered, a like appears above the "User name" field for "Did you forget your password?". Use this link to find all necessary information to unlock your account.
