Organizational Structure
Fio banka is owned by two Czech owners. The key decisions are subject to approval by the Supervisory Board, which includes the owners RNDr. Petr Marsa and Mgr. Romuald Kopún. The Chairman of the Board of Directors, Jan Sochor, is also the director responsible for the individual divisions.
Fio banka is a bank with purely Czech capital.
Board of directors
Mgr. Jan Sochor, CEO and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Fio banka. He has held various positions in the Fio Group since its establishment in 1993 and has been its CEO since 2001. He is a graduate of the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics at Charles University in Prague.
Ing. Jan Bláha, is the Director of the Sales Division, spokesperson and member of the Board of Directors. He has been with Fio Financial Group since 2000. He is a graduate of the Faculty of Economics of the Technical University of Ostrava.
Daniel Ditrich, is the Director of the Operations Division and member of the Board of Directors. He has been with the Fio Financial Group since 2001. He studied IT at Perth Commercial College in Australia.
Mgr. Filip Novotný, is the Chief riskmanager and member of the Board of Directors responsible for risk management. He has been with Fio Financial Group since October 2004. He graduated from the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics at Charles University.
Ing. Jakub Schmid, is the Director of the Credit Division and member of the Board of Directors. He has been with Fio Financial Group since 2001. He is a graduate of the University of Economics - Faculty of Finance and Accounting.
Mgr. Josef Valter, is the Director of the Legal and Financial Division and member of the Board of Directors. He has been with the Fio Financial Group since 2002. He graduated from the Faculty of Law of Charles University.
Ing. Roman Vítek is Director of the Client Division and a member of the Board of Directors. He has worked for the Fio financial group since 2010. He graduated from the Faculty of Economics at the Prague University of Economics and Business.
JUDr. Bc. Jan Ullmann, Ph.D., is Director of the Internal Control Division and a member of the Board of Directors. He has worked for the Fio financial group since 2016. He completed his master’s and doctoral studies at the Faculty of Law of Charles University and his bachelor’s studies at the Faculty of Economics of the Prague University of Economics and Business.
Owners
RNDr. Petr Marsa, MBA, LL.M. is one of the four people who founded the Fio Financial Group. He owns 50% of the shares in Fio holding, a.s. (the parent company of the group) and indirectly controls 50% of the shares in Fio banka, a.s. He is a graduate of the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics at Charles University in Prague.
Mgr. Romuald Kopún is one of the four people who founded the Fio Financial Group. He owns 50% of the shares in Fio holding, a.s. (the parent company of the group) and indirectly controls 50% of the shares in Fio banka, a.s. He is a graduate of the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics at Charles University in Prague.
