Termination of GPW trading

1 December 2017 we terminated trading in Poland on the Warsaw Stock Exchange. From this day it is no longer possible to accept purchase or sales instructions for GPW via Fio banka.

Securities registered on the GPW market after 30 November 2017 will no longer be available through Fio banka. In such cases, the situation can be solved by transferring the securities held to another trader. Here, however, it is necessary to draw attention to the possible transaction costs and the time lag in its implementation.

For those interested in a currency loan denominated in PLN, or clients who draw currency currency in the PLN currency or denominated in the currency, the following dates are significant:

  • 30 November 2017 - Ending the possibility of redeeming the currency loan
  • 31 May 2018 - the deadline for repayment of the drawn currency loan and the termination of the acceptance of the liability with the PLN (creation / increase of the debit position by the acceptance of the PLN into the guarantee)
